I just got home from spending 9 days in Miami’s South Beach for Miami Swim week. I had a blast. I love Miami the tropical weather, the scenery, the beaches and the food! I’m always on the hunt for juice bars, health markets and cafes focused on clean eating and South Beach did not disappoint.
I stumbled upon Jugo fresh on my first full day in Miami, It just happened to be located next to one of my castings that day and was conveniently walking distance from the house I was staying in. Jugo Fresh quickly became a staple in my morning routine while in Miami.
EveryMorning I would walk to Jugo Fresh and order the Kaleito, The yummiest, truly green smoothie i have ever found at a juice bar. Their recipe is pretty similar to the green smoothie I make almost every morning. The Maca-chino -A hormone balancing, superfood Iced coffee that kept me energized and spunky all day, and the oatmeal proteina -their version of overnight oats with a boost of hemp protein and topped with seeds and fruit.

DIRT eat clean
I have been Following DIRT on Instagram for a few months now so eating there was on my Miami to-do list. It was my last day in Miami when I finally ate at dirt, I went with Cait and Barto for brunch after we finished packing and before we had to catch our flight home. I looked at the menu for a good 10 minutes before I could decide on what to order. Everything just sounded sooooo good.
I decided on the gluten-free Avocado Toast (Grilled bread, smashed avocado, extra virgin olive oil, maldon sea salt) and added a fried egg on top. My toast was simple, perfect and exactly what I was craving after a week of no bread and being a bikini 24/7 ! Cait and Barto both got the Crispy Fish Po’Boy (Quinoa-crusted fish, zucchini jalapeño slaw, local tomatoes, basil leaves, Greek yogurt remoulade). I had a bite of Cait’s and it was bomb. They Also serve Kombucha on tap at Dirt which I had to order because the kombucha addiction is real. Barto got a bulletproof coffee which I had never had before so of course I had to have a sip of that as well. It was good but I’m not sure I understand all of the hype.
I loved the modern clean vibes inside the restaurant, it was cool and trendy but done well. If you check them out on instagram you will understand. When we were done with our meals I went back up to the counter and ordered chocolate Rice Krispie treats for the three of us to eat later on our flight… We ended up eating them during our uber ride from Dirt back to our house.
The food was just as delicious as I expected, I can’t wait to go back!
